A New Friend

You’re minding your own business when this man walks past your store. The only reason you notice him is because he’s walked past at least three or four times with eyes that seem to crave your attention. So, you let your eyes meet his asking, “why do you keep walking past the store?” His only response is, “Honestly, you are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, and your energy kept pulling me back.”

You give him that look that says, “PUUUUHLEEEZE.” But he continues, “I’ve been watching you in the distance and was trying to figure out a way to come in and say hello. A beautiful lady like you has to be taken, but I just want to be your friend.” So, do you take a chance and add a “new friend” to your roster or do you tell him you don’t need another “friend.”
